A Complete Set of the 13 Hardback Guide Books Entitled 'ABOUT BRITAIN'. Published for The Festival of Britain Office, by William Collins Sons & Co., 14 St James Place, London. Sponsored by The Brewer's Society, as their contribution to the Festival of Britain 1951. The Poet, Geoffrey Grigson was both Editor and Author. Each pubication has an illustrated coloured frontis page, illustrated by well known illustrators such as S. R. Badmin,Sheila Robinson,Barara Jones, Joan Hassel, John Worley, Kenneth Rowntree & E. W. Fenton.
Each publication has 94 pages of information and 50 photographic plates. The dustjackets are in very good condition and covered in film to protect. The Festival of Britain Logo by Abram Games is on all 13 issues.
