Set 6 Mid Century H.w. Klein Teak Dining Chairs
A wonderful set of SIX mid-century dining chairs designed by Henry Walter Klein (Norwegian, b.1919), for manufacturers Bramin.
Closely associated with the hallowed 'Danish-Modern' movement, the celebrated designs of H.W. Klein were admired throughout the mid-century era...and are now rightly sought after and collected.
This superb run of 'one owner' dining chairs are a rare find: all presented in wonderful, original and unmolested condition.....with beautifully woven paper-cord seats that are virtually free from wear (please see condition below).
The construction is of solid teak, the wood displaying lovely and subtle grain and good caramel hues...with darker inlayed palisander detailing to the top of the stiles / backrails, as shown. A superb lightness of touch which elevate the chairs to a whole new level.
A beautiful and functional addition to any modernist or traditional interior alike.
