Security Bank Note Proofs circa 1821
Very Rare Early Essay Proofs by Perkins Fairman & Heath circa 1821's 'Patent Siderographia' for the use on Bank Notes.
The 2 oval vignettes on the third line, with miniature printing/engraving states 'Charter for the Bank of England'.
The round vignettes on the bottom line where used on the back of the very first steel engraved bank note, by Perkins, Fairman & Heath.
(Had been at one point in an album) Due to personal reasons 'Wayside Mews and Collectables' will be unable to fulfil any orders for the immediate future, this will include the period up to St Valentines Day 2023.
