A nice Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Pocket Watch, made by A & J Smith of Aberdeenand dating from c1894.
The watch is in good overall condition and in working order.
The English made, plain sterling silver case is in good condition. It is hallmarked with case maker's mark "JR" for Rotherham & Sons (John Rotherham), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "U" for 1894/95. The case is in very good overall condition.
The English Lever movement is in working order. It is stem wound and pin set. The movement is signed by the maker "A & J Smith, Aberdeen".
The dial is in good condition, but does have a couple of faint hairlines - see photo. It has Roman numerals for the hours and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock.
