Early 19th.c. rosewood chiffonier side cabinet c.1830. Long single drawer over a two door cupboard with a single shelf inside which can be positioned as required by sliding into the grooves in the sides. Well figured rosewood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on the top, front and sides. Crossbanded edges and a barrel shaped drawer front with raised mouldings. Simple uncluttered design with square door panels free of any applied decoration. Mahogany groundwork to the doors and mahogany drawer linings. A couple of repairs to the veneers on the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
