Fabulously decorative mid 19th century chess board in rosewood, bone and mother of pearl with a distinctive Moorish style.
Beautiful piece of craftsmanship and I have had it sympathetically restored, cleaned and polished, so it is ready for use or ready to just be admired.

41cm square Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
