Retro Peacock Chair original 1970s rattan cane mid century modern Indian caned armchair with its woven design is made from woven rattan wicker cane these full size indian chairs with their large fan shaped peacock backs were once the iconic chairs of the period no 1960s 1970s interior would have been complete without one even the addams family ie mortisha had one.
If you remember the 70s with the eras bold eye catching funky designed interiors,you will remember peacock chairs they where everywhere,no 1970s room would have been complete without one,now vintage peacock chairs are very much back in vogue/ fashion though finding original 1970s chairs can be quite difficult to find for sale when in good condition like this chair which is in very good strong clean vintage pre used condition.
