This is an lovely and unusual shaped Regency sewing box in its original condition. On the front and lid are inlaid brass motifs. The handles on the side are brass as well. The box sits on four bun feet.

The interior is covered in the original pink moiré silk fabric and paper. The fabric covered lids to the compartments are showing some wear, but the colour is vibrant and the lid pulls are original as well. The key and lock are working.

The craftsmanship is excellent on this sewing box and it is both functional and lovely to look at.
