A gorgeous Lucite refillable loose powder compact case which was crafted in the 1950s. This Mascot brand mid-century compact mirror is decorated with stunning guilloche engraving. The Lucite dome protects a pretty Lucite floral composition in crimson, azure blue and emerald green, all set atop glittering vibrant gold tin foil. The compact is signed 'Mascot A S B. The original sifter is present and so this vanity is suitable for all loose face powder or as a handbag mirror. Measures 3" diameter and weighs 94.3 grams.
