A rare Williamson open face military / air force open face case. The pocket watch is numbered 3 times: on the dial the case and on the rim, this is rare. A military pocket watch by Williamson is rare.
DIAL: The clack dial has luminous Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has luminous hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: H. Williamson Ltd, London, 29392F.
MOVEMENT: The anchor lever movement has 7 jewels and is in great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement has blued screws is signed: “7 jewels” and numbered: 430049.
Case: The screw back steel case has a smooth finish with military numbered: 29392F and an arrow. The inner side of the case is signed: “Illinois, Nickel, Elgin Case” and numbered: 0582683.
