This is a very unusual large vintage powder compact measuring over 9cm.
I have not seen this one before. I appears to be completely unused with powder & comes complete with sifter,
good quality fabric puff & watered silk pouch. The lid is superb having being stored in the pouch. It shows a lions leaping on deer & two different types birds. Some of them look like pheonix. It is fantastical & weird.The lid lifts to reveal a good mirror. The compact is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND". The puff & sifter are pristine & unused. The watered silk pouch is good & it is lined with soft cream felt.
