Here we have a fine qulity Victorian country house letter or post box c1890. As you can see the box has beautiful colour andm patina. The box has a very prestigious maker in J C Vickery of London. One of the most eminent makers and retailers in London with a host of Royal warrants. There is an Oak top with thumb moulded edge. There is a stunning brass Letter sign and a bevelled glass name plate with brass surround. The top opens to reveal a vacant interior with front glass viewing window. A wonderful original post box in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 36 cm wide 22 cm deep 24 cm high.
