You are bidding on a rare English open face keywind pocket watch with key, made in England in 1857.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals and outer minute divisions. The numbers 3-6-9-12 are "C-S-F-R", this is very rare to find. This dial was custom made for someone with his initials. The dial has nice golden hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The protective glass is in good condition.

MOVEMENT: The anchor pin lever movement has blued screws and a diamond end stone. The movement is protected by the original dustcover. The movement is in great working condition, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. the movement is decoratively signed: "S. BRUNNER, Birmingham" and numbered: N° 13740.

CASE: The watch lies in a silver case with a smooth monogram free finish. The inner side of the case is hallmarked for Silver Birmingham 1857. the hinges are all closing tightly.
