Rare English Georgian Mahogany Tea Caddy - House Antique English Georgian %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
An outstanding and highly desirable antique English tea caddy dating to the early nineteenth century, around 1810.

In the form of a house, the front is built up with windows and a central front door with pillars. The double window above the door is hinged to conceal the escutcheon which houses the key most unusual, charming and as good as they get.

The roof of the house lifts to reveal a single compartment caddy, the lid interior with it's original Burgundy coloured velvet.

Excellent condition and a must-have for the advanced collector.

5 1/4" x 4 3/4" x 7" tall to top of chimneys.
