Iconic! an absolute collector's dream, this beautiful 1920's powder compact has survived in great condition. Made c. 1928 by Scovil Manufacturing for the Karess range by CB Woodworth. Measuring c. 1.5" inch (3.9cm) diameter, it is beautifully made with the cut out case off setting the wonderful celluloid image, the back is ornately decorated with flowers. All clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to a perfectly clear mirror, an empty godette, a signed puff (oh wow!!) and the original rice paper insert - just wonderful. Pre-loved but at over 80 years old this little beauty is in the best of order and will certainly not disappoint!.
