This is a super quality and good size, very decorative original oval Regency gilt Girondal with twin branch candelabras, circa 1820.
The frame is beautifully decorated throughout, finished with Acanthus leaves and the flaming torch urn to the top, scrolled moulding and rope twist and of course, the pair of twin branch candelabra...being plaster, these have had some damage and repairs over the 200 years, to be expected! Restored well and looking good, the left hand branch is a little off vertical though
Great size measuring 50'' high x 32'' wide and a total of 9'' deep to the candelabra
The mirror glass is original so it has the lovely smokey grey tone rather than bright silver, but it does have blemishing as you can see from the images If you would like any further information, please don`t hesitate to call my mobile 07860304084 ( Peter ).
