Brundall Halt and Brundall on the brass plate.
Brundall is a small village in Norfolk.
Note the condition of the leather - there are holes around the circular brass plate and at the back - the leather is in a poor condition. Please see photos.
Brundall station opened in 1884 and Brundall Halt, originally Brundall Gardens Halt, in 1924 and renamed Brundall Gardens in 1968.
Notice that the brass disc near top of the bag is stamped LNER showing that the bag itself was used during the LNER times after grouping in 1922. Given the condition of the leather, the bag may pre-date LNER.
The brass plate with B.R. and the station name would date from around 1948/1950s when the railways were nationalised and became BR.
