Early oak bureau bookcase,this is a country piece with some later addtions ie the top cornice has been changed,the feet have been renewed,the handles have been changed to later Georgian ones,the fall has had repairs due to shrinkage,overall still a very nice bookcase. There are a number of secret drawers and compartments as is normal with these early bureaus.The overal finish is superb with excellent patination.We offer a free delivery sevice on this item upto 200 miles
