This is a beauty. It is a sideboard or server or grand, hall table. I would imagine it was made in the last thirty years and it would have cost thousands of pounds new. It is wonderful quality. The sideboard is made to a Georgian design. It is made in solid thick oak. The top edges and the drawer fronts are all cross banded in mahogany which you see in antique furniture of the reign of George III from around 1800. The sides of the sideboard have fielded panels. The joints are pegged, again as you would find in Georgian antique furniture. The drawers are made with dovetail joints and the solid brass handles and brass escutcheon are beautiful quality.

I love this sideboard. It has all the charm and quality of period furniture but is simple and elegant and airy. It will look wonderful in a traditional or modern setting.

Condition good. No worm. Joints solid. Drawers run well. Minor marks from usage as you would expect in vintage furniture.

The sideboard is 72 inches wide and 20 inches deep and 32 inches high.
