A very good quality 9CT Gold Pocket Watch made by the highly regarded Swiss Cortebert Watch Company.
Cortebert used to be one of the highest regarded premium watch brands, manufacturing their own movements and supplying movements to other brands such as Rolex.
This watch is a Gentleman's Slim Dress Pocket Watch.
It has a good quality Swiss made, 15 Jewel "Cortebert" movement.
The 9CT Solid gold case is hallmarked with "9" and ".375" for 9CT solid gold, alongside the Glasgow town import mark and date letter "n" for 1936/37.
It is free of engravings and personal inscriptions.
