For sale this extremely rare and collectable 'Elaine' pattern Paragon Art Deco Fine China Side Plate. This unusual Paragon plate has a truly beautiful Art Deco design.

Despite extensive research we cannot find any other examples of this pattern listed on the internet thus this Elaine pattern must be fairly rare.

This plate has many of the signature decorative designs of the iconic Art Deco era: the angular lines (in this case what looks like a green lightening bolt) a circular dotted pattern coupled with the green, yellow and brown colours as well the tasteful and subtle floral decoration. The plate is finished with a gilded rim and fully
stamped to the base, see photos.

Condition report: due to the fact the plate is vintage there is some wear consistent with its age however there are no chips, cracks or heavy crazing. There is a small scratch on the plate and some wear to the gilding but otherwise a clean example and in good condition for its 80 year age. Please examine the pictures closely as the form part of the condition report.

This will be the perfect addition to your vintage pottery collection or would be a vital addition to your Paragon pottery collection.
