Paper-Lace Christmas Greetings Card date 1883
Paper-Lace Die-Cut and Embossed Greetings Card dated 25th Christmas 1883.
The card is addressed to 'Dear Georgie' and states 'with her aunts best wishes for her happiness'. Was written in Kieff (Kiev) Russia, pre-Revolution. No Publishers name or Printers but most certainly printed in Germany.
We have 3 other cards relating to Georgie, all being sent from various places where the Russia Royal Family had Palaces. It is possible that the card refers to The Grand Duchess Alexandra Georgievna of Russia (1870-1891) Due to personal reasons 'Wayside Mews and Collectables' will be unable to fulfil any orders for the immediate future, this will include the period up to St Valentines Day 2023.
