Here is a pair of good quality and very pretty pair of antique style French Louis revival mahogany painted bedside cabinets, circa 1970, designed in the style of the Louis XV1 period, in very good condition. They each have moulded tops above a straight front. Below, there are two working drawer featuring the original metal gilt shaped knobs. The drawers are mahogany lined and dovetailed. The fronts and sides of the cabinets boast a lovely serpentine frieze. To the centre of the cupboards is an elegant carved floral cartouche. The cabinets sit on fine cabriole legs and boast soft carvings to the feet. These bedsides cabinets boast the classic French chateau styling that you see in antique furniture of this period.
These cupboards would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the bedroom. They would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

These bedside cabinets are in very good original condition. The bedsides are painted in an antique signal white colour with a “shabby chic” finish, which means the old use marks, wear and tear to the edges /corners of the paintwork are intentional. The drawers run smoothly and close flush to the frame. The frames and drawer linings of the bedsides are constructed of mahogany. The gilt metal knobs are original. The cabinets stand firm on the ground and do not wobble. They are solid in joint and ready to use.
