Splendid pair of large French salon style arcmchairs c.1950. Very comfortable with low shaped and sprung backrests and arms over a generously proportioned seat with deep cushions on sprung bases. Beechwood frames with carved and moulded detail retaining the original paintwork very attractively worn through in places to reveal a blue ground and the timber below. Recently upholstered in a salmon woven fabric with piped edges to the cushions and brass studs where it meets the frame. Excellent condition with clean covers.
