Pair of large Ceremonial chairs
A large pair of highly decorative hardwood Ceremonial chairs with cane backs and seats in the Continental style.
The backs consist of a double cane central section with carved armorial & foliage decoration to the side and to the top.
The back supports are carved leading down to lions head armrests with single cane seats with carved seat rails.
These lead down to carved legs with floral decoration and terminate with animal paw feet.
There are also carved supports to the front and side, the front one consisting of armorial and foliage decoration, the side ones are of foliage design only.
These chairs are in excellent condition. LVS Decorative Arts is a family run business specialising in an eclectic mix of fine quality and decorative antiques from around the world.
