Pair of gorgeously carved Gilted Chinese hardwood panels/plaques. Created from single wooden slabs and profusely carved demonstrating exceptional skill. In the centre of both panels is scenes with figures, buildings, trees and wild life and the detail in these carvings is exceptional and surrounded by more beautiful carving. These panels/plaques really have an abundant of interest from every angle. The panels are in good original condition, with only very minor surface wear in line with age and use. They are highly decorative and would look great in any room.
