Remarkable pair of decorative Art Deco style column stands. The bodies are filled with bands of different coloured sands to replicate the grain of polished marble. With carved and painted wooden capitals of simplified ionic form, a brass strap and turned bases on a square plinth. Would make an impressive pair of lamp stands or plinths, the flat portion of the top measures 5″ x 9″.
