This very impressive large pair of antique leather & mahogany wing armchairs have very generous proportions & are extremely comfortable. They also have a lovely naturally aged colour to the original leather & there are no rips, tears or holes. This type of armchair is my favourite for overall comfort & back support. I would say they date from around the 1950's period & are structurally sound, sitting on strong solid mahogany chamfered legs with cross stretchers. The leather is also hand tacked onto the frames. These armchairs have hump backs & well shaped wings. It's nice to find a good looking pair of wing armchairs that are also very comfortable.
