A decorative and large pair of House of Commons journals covering 1783 and 1792. Originally from the library of Lord Clifford at Ugbrooke House, Devon, the books are a fascinating insight into Parliamentary debate at the time of George III. Stamped with Lord Clifford’s details and Ugbrooke House to the inside. In generally good order for their age although one cover starting to come detached in places. These are intended as a decorative pair of 18th century books.
