These haberdashery cupboards probably dates to the 1930s - 1950s and are made with an oak front and boarded sides. They are wonderful quality pieces.

The tall cupboards have an oak moulded top and all the drawers have glazed doors, original handles and golden oak frames. The glass doors lift up and slide in an 'up and over' way as with Barristers bookcases of the period. The mechanisms are wonderful and they all slide back easily. The cupboards are large. Some minor staining on some shelves - I have photographed the worst - but this will be hidden when you put lining paper in. The bottom cupboard has an oak front. Some minor scrapes to boarded sides as you would expect.

These are such handsome cabinets. With their large cupboards and glass doors and tall narrow dimensions they could be used in a bedroom for clothes or in a principal room for storage or as alcove cupboards either side of a fireplace or door. The cupboards have all the mid century style you could want. These are heavy quality pieces and are imposing without overpowering your space.

The cabinets are identical

Each cabinet is 78 inches high and 24 inches wide and 20 inches deep. Each cupboard is 21 inches wide and 18.5 inches deep and 12 inches high.
