Handsome pair of large black leather easy armchairs c.1970. Shaped backrests with deep buttoned upholstery over padded arms, with interesting folded detail in the leather, on crisply turned mahogany spindles. Very comfortable loose seat cushions. Raised on short turned legs front and rear. Excellent quality with solid mahogany frames. Note the wedge below the front of the seat to stop the cushions sliding forward.
