This gorgeous pair of 19th Century ormolu dolphin candlesticks would grace any modern dining table or mantlepiece.

The ormolu has a lovely patina, being brighter on the underside.

These dolphins have been well looked after, and were probably a sailor's Good Luck charm... with the evidence for this being one of the dolphin heads has been rubbed smooth! (see pictures)
