A very Rare thing to find Linenfold panels with original painted
surface still intact... almost unheard of really!... well these have
Verdigris throughout..The two panels here were probably one panel
but have suffered a slight loss, see Cescinsky & Gribble Early English antique furniture woodwork for similar examples although they date those examples late 15th early 16th and call them vertical moulded panels and not linenfold.(pages 240-250 )
