This is a decorative original copperplate map of Radnorshire by Johan Blaeu dating from the 1650's.

This is a strong impression on thick paper with central fold as published and with early colouring. Dutch text verso.

It is decorated with three coats-of-arms, an ornate title cartouche with farmer and his cattle and sheep (bottom left), and a mileage scale with horse and rider instructing a worker (bottom right).

Condition: There are generous margins. The map is in overall good condition though there are two water stains, the first bottom centre affecting the image and a second, smaller one, in the right margin.
