Original Antique OMEGA Railroad Pocket Watch. Silver Plated. Open Face. Made in Switzerland. Circa 1914
Movement: Manual hand-winding stem, mounted on a hinged ring, and accessible from the front of the watch, unscrewing the bezel, and lifting the dial from 6 o'clock). Gold tone. Bimetallic screw balance. Breguet hairspring. Signed “Omega”.
Dial: Porcelain dial. Black Roman hour numerals. Minutes/Seconds divisions with Arabic numerals at five minutes. Subsidiary Dial for Seconds at 6 o’clock. Gilt Spade and Whip set of hands. Signed.
Case: Silver plated. Open face. Screw-down bezel with engine turned decoration (for and easier unscrew). Acrylic crystal. Large crown and pendat bow at 12 o’clock. Ornameted back (Locomotive motif, on the tracks). 4636538.
Dimension: 52 millimeters diameter. Thickness: 15 millimeters.
Condition: Good overall and working properly. Case shows signs of use, as scratches and some dents by the sides. Dial is in very good overall condition, but please check that when the bezel is removed, you will see a crack at 4 o’clock, on the edge, but fortunately not visible under the bezel more photos available, great gift or fit for any collection
