Oak table made by Critterman Stan Dodds (Woodpecker Man) c 1950s. Beautifully made in solid English oak using traditional techniques. decorative carved features, including carved woodpecker signature.

Stan Dodds was one of the 30 Crittermen, trained by Robert Mouseman Thompson, who went on to produce their own antique furniture. They used the same tools and techniques as The Mouseman, but signed their pieces with their own carved signature. Stan Dodd's signature was a carved woodpecker.
