A lovely oak bible box with an inscription carved into the lid showing the initials MS and the date 1709 underneath a stylised flower. The front of the box is carved and the lid opens on butterfly hinges. The interior contains 3 drawers with replacement handles.

The box has nice colour and patination and is in good condition for its age. The size is
