Mortgage Obligation Bond - 1726
George I Mortgage Obligation Bond dated 2nd August 1726, between a Ralph & Mary Purdy and a Robert Fiary. Handwritten in Latin and English, onto Hand made Laid Watermarked paper. Has a nice red seal. A Franked Paper Duty Stamp of 8 pence and 3 Embossed Duty Stamps of VI pence.
