Mid Century Teak Extending Dining Table & Chairs
A lovely dining table and chair set. We date this table and chair set to the 1960/70s.
The table sits on four downward tapered square section legs. The table is round in shape and has a deep apron with a black faux leather padded area above each leg, the curved backrests of the chairs also have the faux leather backrests and nest neatly between when not in use to give that gives the appearance of a black leather apron around the table. The chairs have matching seat pads with a slightly tapered front to nest under the table.
The table extends by pulling the top apart and unfolding a leaf from within the table.
The table has a height of 29" (74cm), a diameter of 46.5 (120cm). When opened the length increases to 62" (157cm).
The chairs are 28" (71cm) high with a backrest height of 11" (28cm), a seat height of 18" (46cm), an overall width of 20" (51cm) and a seat depth of 20" (51cm).
This lovely teak dining table and chair set remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a number of slightly lighter marks and minor scratches to the table top. There are a few light marks to the seat pads from past use.
This remains a very stylish and elegant teak dining table and chair set. They will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
