This is a charming cabinet by Homeworthy designed to hold vinyl records (both LPs and 45s). It is in a classic early 60s atomic style with tapered dansette legs, painted black. The body of the cabinet is veneered in a medium-tone wood, probably sapele or tola. It has brass knobs and and brass trim on the edges.

Inside are 4 compartments for vinyl albums, and 1 smaller compartment originally designed for vinyl singles. There is a small drawer intended for a spare stylus. The cabinet could equally be used to store documents or files/folders. The original 'Homeworthy' sticker is on the underside, along with a printed date, 9/12/61.

The cabinet is in very good, vintage condition. It has been gently restored - the original polish has been removed and the beautiful exposed wood has been oiled and waxed. The legs have been repainted. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
