Mid Century Greaves & Thomas Dining Chairs C1960
The chairs possess a strong whiff of Scandinavian influence about them and are a classic example of mid-century antique furniture with the propeller shaped backs. Certainly one of Greaves & Thomas’s most attractive designs. Made of solid teak with light figuring.
Greaves & Thomas were London based and specialised in quality pieces for the living and dining rooms and these may have been designed by Walter Cornell.
The seats have been freshly upholstered in a finely striped wool blend fabric by Bute Fabrics named Syke and is in a charcoal and grey colourway – very much mid-century in style. The frames are good with the odd mark or two and only gentle ageing. Two have a slightly darker tone to the back bar however the set was purchased from the same residence.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.
Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
