A G Plan Tola & Black sideboard produced in the late 1950’s

The G Plan Tola & black Librenza range preceded the company’s lean towards Danish design aesthetic in the 1960’s.

’Tola’ is the name of the African mahogany used throughout the range, and ‘Black’ signifies the ebonised wood detailing

It reflected the glamour of late 1950’s Italian design. Kitsch in essence, the range features black ebonised frames, with African mahogany (Tola) finishes and solid brass highlights.

The Tola & black range is iconic and has become very collectable.

Very good mid century condition. Minor signs of wear consistent with age use.
