Mid Century Danish Desk by Ole Wanscher c1950
This mid-century rosewood desk was designed by Ole Wanscher and produced by A J Iverson in Denmark during the 1950’s, it is of very high quality with English influences, chamfered edging to the top and legs, cock-beading around drawers and cupboards, two slides, seven drawers to the front, to the back it has a single drawer flanked by two fall front cupboards, it has brass swan neck handles and two original keys. The desk has been fully polished and is in excellent condition throughout

Ole Wanscher studied at the royal academy of fine arts under Architect Designer Kaare Klint and learnt a very high standard
