Mid-size 1949 Bulova wrist watch
Mid-size 1949 Bulova wrist watch.
The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, 15-jewel 10BC, which is working nicely. The date code dates the watch to 1949.
The watch itself measures 25mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs so it would suit a slim to medium wrist. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel case back and it is in lovely condition. The back of the watch has been engraved with a previous owner’s initials and the date 25 December 1955. The winding crown is signed with the Bulova name.
The convex lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
