A highly decorative mid-century faux bamboo walnut display cabinet by Stanley Furniture, circa 1960. This cabinet features a stunning faux bamboo facade with intricate detailing along the glass front and sides. The sides are glass, and the central cabinet door opens to reveal two sturdy glass shelves. The base showcases a three-paneled faux bamboo design with beautiful parquetry work, and the central door opens to reveal an interior drawer and additional storage. This cabinet is in fabulous original condition, featuring a rich pecan-coloured finish. This piece is a rare hutch by Stanley and is perfect for displaying items. It includes a light that can be plugged in for display purposes, or it can also be used as a bookshelf. The walnut finish on this piece remains beautifully intact, with a warm patina.
