A medieval carved sandstone figure representing a soul.

The figure naked crouching with hands clasped looking forward in prayer.

Simple detail to the face, but enchanting all the same.

The hair in delicate ringlets, the body again of simple design.

Good colour and presence .

The top half of the head has come off at some time,the rest is in very good condition.
