This is a Victorian walnut domed correspondence box with brass mounts. The interior has been relined in a light aqua dupioni silk. There is a lock and working key. But what makes this box truly special is the walnut veneer. It is feathered which is rare and it is iridescent when the sun shines on the box. The size are: 23cm wide x 23 cm deep x 18 cm high.
