Large French Louis XV Style Mahogany Trompe l'oeil Break Front Bookcase
This is an exceptional looking piece, with sculptured panelled doors and a serpentine cornice, it will store a vast amount of books or other objects stored behind the central double doors decorated with leather book spines.
On the left we have another shelved cupboard, the bottom section of which is fitted with a small hanging rail, the right hand section has open shelving over another cupboard.
All the shelves of this Bookcase are fully adjustable, and it breaks down into several pieces for ease of access, it has brass fittings and the locks work
The Bookcase is in very good condition, there is only mild surface scratching it is 100” wide, 25” deep and 90” high overall
