Remarkable mid 20th.c. West African hardwood coffee table c.1960. Very nearly six feet long, the top made of a single 1½” thick slab. Supported on four Ashanti style elephants, each carved from a single block of timber with inlaid eyes and wooden tusks. On a low plinth with shaped feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
