The LMS operated from the grouping of 1923 to nationalisation in 1948. On its formation numerous companies came under its control including LNWR, Midland Railway, Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway, Caledonian Railway.
There is overpainting mainly around the edge along with surface marks associated with normal use and age. One of the strap ends has become detached from its pin. Please see photos.
Approximate dimensions: armband 10cm x 7.8cm, weight including straps 94.7 grams.
